Vahid: Vocalist and composer Bahar: Vocalist and songwriter Persian music band living in Denmark Vahid: Started music training with prominent music teachers at the age of 12 Worked in television and also in different nightclubs during 1970s Is keyboard and guitar player, composer and singer THE IRANIAN MUSIC SCENE As a young keyboard player Vahid immediately captured the attention of the established music scene with his special sound and his always convincing approach to his instrument. Soon he was a part of the generation which formed the Iranian music scene in the 70s. During period, western music had found its way to the Iranian music culture and musicians had the opportunity to find new sources of inspiration. At the same time, musicians were highly respected which gave rise to even greater progress and experiments in sound and genre. Vahid was inspired by jazz, blues and rock, which at that time was represented by groups like Pink Floyd, Genesis, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Jethro Tull, Deep Purple and Tangerine dream Vahid continued his music education at Honarhaye Ziba (The Iranian music Academy) while working as a professional musician. After the revolution the Academy was closed and the clubs were either closed or burned down. People were afraid and music was banned.
