Artist
Tired Rhyme Declines was formed in 1994 in Richland Center, Wisconsin by Andrew Sandker (guitar and vocals), Aaron Sandker (drums and violin), and James Silvers (bass and vocals). In 1999 Matt Shepherd joined the band on keys. The band recorded one album, "5 a.m. sunrise", at James' house. Most of the songs were recorded in one take over the course of one weekend with a friend's (Greg Dalbey) recording gear. The band was active until around 2005, playing a variety of shows around Madison, WI and was active in the DIY music community there. There was little activity for nearly twenty years until 2024 when the band decided to release "5 a.m. sunrise" for the first time on streaming services. Tired Rhyme Declines is now active on socials and plans are in the works to begin recording a second album.
