the spor.es are a Denver-based Indie Rock duo consisting of TAMMY SUE EVERETT on lead vocals, drums & keyboards, and GREGORY THOMAS BIRIBAUER on guitars & loops. Producer-engineer-guitarist BIRIBAUER, (originally from Toronto, ON, CAN), first created The Spores in Los Angeles, CA, a band deeply embedded in the legendary desert rock scene of the early 2000's along with Masters Of Reality, Queens Of the Stone Age, Eagles Of Death Metal & Kyuss, among others. With extensive airplay on L.A. station Indie103.1, and through exposure by Rodney Bingenheimer on his "Rodney On the ROQ" show, the band became darlings of the Southern California art-rock scene, touring extensively through the USA, Canada, UK & EU, but ultimately disbanding in 2008 over musical differences. In 2011, Greg relocated to Denver, CO, and started collaborating with singer, drummer and keyboardist EVERETT, (born in Stroudsburg, PA). Tammy brought pure inspiration, valuable writing, arranging & production skills to the project. This new version of the band, re-dubbed "thespor.es", have now finished their 2012 7-song EP "THIS IS FOREVER".
