theAbrasions were a five-piece punk band from Tinley Park, Illinois. tA formed in the summer of 2003 and played together for two years until breaking up in 2005. Members: Gonz - vox and guitar Mickey - guitar and vox Nick - lead guitar Jack - bass Naj - drums Members of tA have gone on to play in many Chicago-area projects such as The Shortcuts, The Massacres, Rigor Phallus, The Rust Belt Ramblers, Tubesock Skeeters, Curtains!, Tracer Bullet, and toxicAmerikana.
