Formed in early 2021 in Altrincham , The Guest List, led by Cai Alty and comprising Angus Gilchrist, Sid Wallace, Leio Hunter, and Tom Quigley, quickly emerged to prominence in the Manchester music scene. Their self-titled debut EP, released in December 2022, showcased their melodic guitar riffs and relatable lyrics. In a short span, the band grew a social media following of over 400,000 people and nearly 8 million TikTok likes, demonstrating their widespread appeal. The infectious single ‘Steel Police’ further solidified their success, leading to a sold-out performance at the iconic Deaf Institute in Manchester.
