Now a resident of South Manchester, Neil Dawson was born in the small Cumbrian Village of Haverigg. In 2009 he formed the dumbguns, an upbeat electronic act taking influences from all walks of life. Their debut album release "The Black Diary Fix" is a concept album still in the making. Due for release in early 2011, it will be an electronic journey through the yet to be written scribblings of the last remaining folk on earth.
