There are two acts using the name The Vault. 1) The Vault is a young and energetic rock-band from Waregem, Belgium. Their first show in September 2007 was an immediate success. They won a local contest and were able to open Rock Waregem. Just recently they won another rockrally and they opened Schippersweekend. The Vault already shared stages with bands such as Freaky Age, The Von Durden Party Project, Steak Number Eight, White Circle Crime Club, Red zebra, Triggerfinger... Their music is heavy as rock should be, with straight forward drums and guitar riffs, dirty bass lines and a modern touch from the synth which only makes their sound sexier and extremely charismatic. The Vault is also a one-man project that started out in the year of 2005, with a purpose on experimenting the dark side of the electronic music, dealing with exploration of different aspects of the occult and human sickness. "The Vault symbolized how a person can withdrawal into oneself and the oppression of mental sickness. It also represent a solitary confinement, a hiding-place in our mind to hide ourself from the rest of the world." 2) The Vault is a black metal band from Quebec, Canada.
