Artist
The Spastic Society is actually dutchman Pieter Brussee. Born in Leiderdorp (1978), Pieter grew up in the province of Zuid-Holland, where he soon got hooked on the upcoming house music scene. While studying Psychology at the University of Utrecht, Pieter started experimenting with multitrack composing on his computer. Through the years Pieter enjoyed the bedroom production and picked up the new wave of IDM and minimal music that was up and coming from around 2003. Influenced by James Holden, Minilogue, Extrawelt and also more ambient artists such as The Orb, the Spastic Society is currently working hard on a breakthrough.
