There are multiple bands called The Help. One is a band based in Boston that performed primarily in the New England area from 1999 to 2009. They consist of members Alex Gaynor on lead vocals and guitar, Mark Brozek on harmonies and guitar, Will Cady on bass, Dan Adams on the drums and later, Greg Settino on the drums. The Help is best known as one of the first and most visible bands to partner with Boston Radio 92.9's effort to bring local bands to a larger audience through large scale public performances and radio play. Another band called The Help is a Chicago based band that formed in the mid 90s and mainly played around the Chicago area. They disbanded in 2001.
