about

Facebook | YouTube | Twitter SWANSHORE, at first known as Swan Shore, is a metalcore band born in late 2008 in Rome, Italy. The first line-up included Theo at vocals, Vick and Gio at guitars, Fra at bass and Matt at drums. At the beginning the band struggled to find a genre to go for because of the different musical influences of each member, but after a year they found their own style combining the aggressive metalcore elements with pure melodic harmonies and sections. They released two home recorded songs in 2009 before entering the studio in April and then again in September of the following year (2010). The result was the band's first Ep, "Reflections", remixed and mastered on February 2011 and finally released on April 2011. Right after the band hit the road for their first out of town show and began to write new material. In May Theo and Gio decided to leave the band as they didn't want to invest anymore in the project. After a long research SWANSHORE found permanent replacements in Alex, at vocals, and Tom, at guitars/vocals and officially announced the new line-up in October 2011. The band will enter the studio in November to record 3 new tunes which will be released, along with a music video, in begginning 2012. SWANSHORE is finally ready to rise up and blow your mind. This time it will be different, guaranteed. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
