Sunnyfriends+ is an online experimental music collective formed in 2024 currently consisting of 5 members, Scrambled Egg, Mold, Onion (Madeline Dawn Sikes), Ungrilled Cheese Sandwich, and Amorphous Blob (Pine Tree Sound). The origins of Sunnyfriends date back to August 2024 when the experimental rock album Sunnyalbum was released under the alias Sunnyband. The album was conceptualized and created over the span of 3 days by Mold. In October 2024, Mold began working on a sequel to Sunnyalbum with Scrambled Egg. On October 31st 2024 the album would release as RANCID MUSIC under the alias Sunnyfriends, to signify the addition of Scrambled Egg. In November 2024, discussion began on a sequel to RANCID MUSIC and the addition of new members to the group, Onion, Ungrilled Cheese Sandwich, and Amorphous Blob, shortly followed after. On July 2025, the group would release Sunnyd & Her Superbly Spontaneous and Serendipitous Ensemble of Queerly Deranged Clown Burglar Motherfuckers, also known as Sunnyd's Magic Band, under the new alias Sunnyfriends+. The alias would become permanent and several non-album releases would follow. The music of Sunnyfriends+ consists of a combination of many genres with unorthodox song structures often inspired by many progressive rock and experimental rock music, with an emphasis on being humorous or bizzare in nature.
