sugar'N'spice are a female Japanese rock band from Tokyo, formed in 2006. The original three members are Kyao (Lead vocals & guitar) Tsue (Lead guitar & vocals) Mie (Drums) but have recently been joined by Saika (Bass & vocals). Kyao is behind of most of the songwriting. Their songs are packed with killer pop melodies to breath fresh life into the 21st century. The band members have completely different music tastes which help give sugar'N'spice their unique sound. The band members are very intelligent and have the ability to bring various languages together in their music. sugar’N’spice realesed their first album "spangle" in 2007, which KYAO did all the mixing, mastering, engineering, producing, designing and pressing. They released their second album in 2009, which sold out almost instantly. Their third album "ROCK STAR" was released in 2011, where shortly after the band supported "Otokomasari" on a month long tour, which saw a vigorous amount of live performances. Their fourth album "The Hybrid Age" was released in 2012. Kyao says that: "The Hybrid Age is so good that it could be my posthumous work, at least it is a masterpiece of this band."
