Strike With Chaos is the new project of influencial london-based producer Coxsone Mingeback, C-Minge to his friends. A stalwart of the drum'n'bass pirate scene circa Eruption FM (big up the Nightingale estate), Mingeback came to prominence with releases alongside legends like G-Rok1020, Fantasy Islander and Guy DeBored. A period away from the music industry in the late 90s in which he underwent a pioneering medical procedure to regrow a severed thumb was quickly followed by a prolific creative blossoming in which musicians and producers alike flocked to be associated with the Mingeback sound. Countless artists owe their success to his 'compositional sound visioning' technique. TV and film composer Jim Copperthwaite (http://www.adaptedsilence.com) described working with Mingeback as 'the most enlightening musical adventure imaginable' and 'a total and utter storm in a giant-sized teacup'. Combining his recent work in film scores with a darkly ambient outlook Mingeback now creates cinematic glitchscapes with field recordings, stochastic processes, crippled beats and dysfunctional bass.
