Stone Cold Stunner is a stoner heavy rock band project. It comes from an idea of Lelio Mulas (bass, vocals, guitar and drum), former member of Devotion (brit glam rock), N.E.M.O. (italian prog rock) and 9MesiSenzaTV (Alternative rock) and Giuseppe Calvo (guitar). At the moment the band is embodied by Lelio Mulas alone, who's writing and recording most of the songs that will be included in the first album. The most influential bands for Stone Cold Stunner are stoner and grunge cornerstones, including metal and hard rock iconic bands. To mention just a few, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Kyuss, Queens of the Stoneage, Black Label Society, Unida, Mustasch, Grand Magus, Orange Goblin, Alabama Thunderpussy, Corrosion of Conformity, Fu Manchu and many, many more. Heavy, bluesy guitar riffs and bass lines, powerful and groovy bassdrum pattern based drumlines will be the distinctive style of SCS sound.
