Called an “avalanche of ecstatic sonic exploration… at an outpost overlooking the fringes of progressive rock and jazz fusion” (Odd Nugget), springtide is a genre-bending study in contrasts - an instrumental jazz project founded on the sounds of 80s arena pop. The one-man project is the brainchild of by Hart Ichinose, a Tokyo-based composer, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist with a flair for vibrant, guitar-driven soundscapes that blend Eastern style with global pop energy. This is for fans of Alternative-grunge guitar, Math rock, Electronic or Jazz music like Pat Matheny. In other words, anyone with a pulse.
