Spiral Dive are a Heavy Metal band from Kettering, Northamptonshire in the UK. Spiral Dive formed in June 2000 and played their first gig at The Rising Sun in Kettering, with Defenestration and Scurge. By the end of February 2001 Spiral Dive finished recording their first album "The Dawning Of....." Then In May 2001, Spiral Dive uploaded Grinder and later No Rest, (Both from the album "The Dawning Of....") to GarageBand.com. Both songs still receive exceptional reviews. Grinder reached a chart position of No.2 out of 3,535 Hard rock bands in December of 2002 and Spiral Dive are still the highest placed UK act on the site after 4 years! From November 2001 til December '03, Spiral Dive set up and successfully ran "Club Evil." This swiftly became Northamptonshire’s most prominent rock venue, only closing after 2 years due to building redevelopment. In February 2002, Spiral Dive recorded their second album "T.H.C" which was later released in June 2002. A year later in February 2003 they recorded preliminary tracks for their 3rd album "Keep Me Numb." Grinder was released on the Evolution CD in the USA through GarageBand.com. In May 2003, Spiral Dive performed in PorkFest II, their second annual all day festival which was filmed by Northants TV. The broadcast was supposed to air for 2 weeks, but due to popular demand aired for 11 weeks! In June 2003, songs were written for a Rock Stage Production Concept (Metal Heart).
