SORANAKI (ソラナキ) is a Japanese visual kei band active since 2023. They are associated with the menhera kei and wafuu subgenres, which combine emotional and mental health themes with traditional Japanese influences in both their music and visual presentation. The band was originally formed as a limited-time project called HOKOKATUGI (ホコカツギ), but later evolved into a formal band under the name SORANAKI (ソラナキ). The current lineup features vocalist Naki (亡) from the band BIS, guitarist Roa (炉亜), also from BIS, and drummer Yakumo (八雲), who was previously in ANSIFLE (アンシフル). They are joined by support members, including guitarist KAWORU (カヲル) and bassist Takumi (卓美). The band began as HOKOKATUGI on January 3, 2023, and their first live performance was held on January 30 at Takadanobaba CLUB PHASE. Initially, Lyu played support bass, but on March 1, 2023, Mizuki (水希) from Shoudouteki CAROL (衝動的キャロル) joined as the official bassist. The limited band later transitioned into the formal band SORANAKI (ソラナキ) on August 24, 2023. On the same day, the group released their first two digital singles, Koi wa Gekiyaku (恋は劇薬) and Kusare Gedo no Fukuwarai (腐れ外道の福笑い). Further releases followed in quick succession, with the digital single Omajinai (御呪い) coming out on September 3, 2023, and their first digital mini-album, Hyakumonogatari (百物語), on September 10, 2023.
