silpnosios is a radical industrial screamo band formed in early 2007. It is a collaborative project of three bands - Gegen, dreary and Phobius Opius, - working in the context of industrial music (the subgenres of noise, ambient, EBM and electronica). The name roughly translates as "weak", in the plural feminine adjective form of the word. silpnosios' scenic image plays a distinctive role in their live performances. It is an underground band, with public appearances happening in a way reminiscent of the early Pink Fairies, fused with the inevitable local influence of Fluxus. A message in spraypaint has recently appeared on the wall of a local abandoned soviet bunker (commonly used for illegal underground performances). It states that with their new work "Emo Nacht" released publically, they'll become famous and well-known worldwide in the gothic/industrial musical scene, causing an imminent upturn in it.
