Sezgin was born in Kiel, Germany on June 9th, 1973 and has been living in Ankara, Turkey since 1977. During his bachelor studies (at Mechanical Engineering department, Middle East Technical University), he took voice classes (from Mustafa Yurdakul, Deva Colakoglu, Husamettin Under, Gulsen Kocaay, Rezzan Sokmen, Hulya Kazan, ...), jazz singing classes (from Yıldız Ibrahimova), sang in many choirs and continued his parallel music conservatory education (at Hacettepe University) until he lost interest. He has been composing since he was in High School, but has just gathered the courage to publicize his remaining work after a recent, devastating internet attack. Sezgin is one of the founding members of Orfeon Chamber Choir (www.orfeontr.com), the most distinguished chamber choir in Turkey, with two albums published and hundreds of concerts accomplished in thirteen years. He has taken stage on many concerts around the world with Orfeon. Sezgin's interest in electronic music flourished in the second half of the 90's when he was dissociatively into club culture in Ankara. The club life in Ankara pathetically declined over the years due to the current mayor and Sezgin eventually retired to his room. He likes blending orchestral instruments with casual sounds. He plans to publish his own album in 2008 which will include some tracks in which he will be singing also. Sezgin now manages his own engineering company in Ankara.
