seeing ear dog was a two piece experimental improv/noise outfit that formed in early 2003. they were known for utilizing a combination of traditional and nontraditional sound sources, often taking hours of studio time simply assembling and preparing the vast array of instruments they were to use in a session. moving from ambient, nearly acsetic, spaces through droning and swelling crescendos, the members of seeing ear dog evinced a nearly empathic ability to follow the leads of each other, and the music. the results of these explorations inhabit a small slice between lo-fi freakout and cultured chamber-psych.
