Sang.Rawi also known as RAWI or راوي, is a Malaysian Experimental Nusantara (With the elements of of modern Malay cultures, psychedelic, Folk & rock) band. The band, formed in 2014 in a underground scene in Malaysia and based in Kuching, Sarawak. They started as a busker band in Kuching until they're realize they should come out something with their talent. From that moment, the original line up; Muhammad Noor Suffian (Vocals & Guitar), Faizuladhar Bin Antoni (Flute & Guitar), Mohd. Shahrulnizam Bin Bujang & Yusrie Bin Supardi (Percussion) started to make their own music. In the process of making the band, Rawi found a local clarinetist; Hafriz Zulfadly to be part of their soul on 2016 during a band selection to been played at the Rainforest World Music Festival 2017. After a while, Yusrie Bin Supardi & Mohd. Shahrulnizam Bin Bujang decided to stop and Rawi found Mohd Rafiq Bin Salaiman (Bass) and Farzha Muhammad Bin Hamdam (Drum) to enlarge their sounds.Their first song is Tikam (2014 - unreleased), Terbang (2014), Hilang (2015), Maha Seni (2016), Instrumental Mimpi Syurga (2016 - unreleased), Joget Lanun (2016), Raja (2017), Kau (2018), and Skizofrenia (Theatre's theme song - 2018 unreleased). Late 2018; Rawi recorded their first EP (Live Ep Album) with a collaboration from AOK RECORDS, Kelipan Store, and Cooliorecords.
