The SALTINE CRACK WHORES are an up and coming self described anti-folk collective from Vicksburg, Mississippi. The band's debut album, We're More Awesome than Any Other Motherfuckers in This Galaxy, was released on Fnarf Records in 2005. The members of the SCW all met when the bass player, Adam, posted a note on the bulletin board at his high school asking if there was anyone that would like to start a band. Those that responded were Paul, Dave, and Larry. The four of them got together in Dave's aunts flat and wrote the hit song "Vicksburg Calling!". Sadly, Adam was jumped in an ally after a show and died soon there after from a blow to the head that caused a blood clot in his brain. He was replaced by another boy named Paul who could tune his own guitar. They also had to let their original drummer, Larry, go due to they found another drummer that had a neat sounding nickname.
