Artist
Bio..EVOLUTION spring threatened to melt winter back in 1992 when Jeremy Riley took on the stage name "Jay Walker" and set about taking his love of creating noise into something that resembles the healing process that follows the aftermath of a tornado. Like a sliver that hurts so bad but feels so good once removed, the sLiver0ne project is a photoelectric hodgepodge of anabolic morphism designed to create a bombardment of disassociated sensory perceptions that are in want of leaving one with a sickening sense of foreboding while simultaneously, feeling an ethereal sense of calming enlightenment sprinkled with a healthy dose of everything between. instead of following the accepted definitions of music theory, Jay opted to push the limits of what defines music. Wherein there is much similarity to conventional music definition, with the exception of a few tracks, the sLiver0ne project is anything but conventional. Like an artist tossing paint at random upon a canvas, Jay tosses audio into a blender and records the result. vacuum cleaners morph into sonic backdrops, coffee pots burble their way into drumbeats, guitar feedback gets bent into birds and ethereal sounding keyboards. Thanks in large to the rainbow pooping unicorns that live in the realm of circuit bending, the sound that bombards the ears is not always what it appears to be. every audio track is the result of months of collecting audio. Jay records guitar tracks, drums, bass lines, keyboards and anything and eve
