Raised Among Wolves is a seven-man orchestra from Copenhagen with its roots in suburban silence and the city's insistent racket. The genre coined is "over-hedge-and-ditch"-pop. The songs venerate both the singer/songwriter-, slavesong- and folkgenre with a underlying emphasis on catchy melodies. The sound is created in the group's own delicately constructed architecture, which at times can paint a... chaotic soundscape. The mood balances on the precipice between scenarios of high-flown lo-fi dreams and an inner crushing intimacy.
