Raikuva paska are a mainly 3-piece band from Finland with starring guests on different releases. Their style varies greatly from release to release, but generally follows among the lines of punk rock and extreme metal with hints of jazz, progressive and whatever they feel like trying out. The band started as a joke among friends in 2015, their early work being a parody of extreme metal music. Releases were few and far between, and most albums were created in a day or two. It was only years later when two of the now core members got the idea to make more serious music, and started to properly compose and record songs. This lead to the creation of their two self-titled albums; Raikuva Paska, and Raikuva Paska 2, the first being hardcore punk, and the latter a more experimental, instrumental progressive rock EP with jazzy elements and combinations of different genres they wanted to try out.
