post- is a final year project by two mass comm undergraduates from Singapore. As a two-man team, Rongjun and Shaun have undertaken all duties, from conceptualization, writing, recording to production, mixing and mastering. It was insane. Post- is a mix of genres, from post-rock to conventional rock songs and includes elements of sound design and sampling. Writing post-rock songs as a two-man team is equivalent to aural suicide. Shaun's brother,Leon was later enlisted to play bass on some of the tracks. As beginners in musical production, this debut album still brings you some joy (or fear - whatever works). The songs were inspired by the many things they learnt and experienced as students in WKWSCI.
