Self described as "the world's very first indie neo-dream folk one-person band", pocket land is an DIY indie-folk project out of a rural town in Florida. The creator of the band, Lukas Sumner, started out making short form comedy on YouTube for a year until they began releasing music in April 2022, which included a single and their self-titled debut EP. Their music blends several influences, from the singer-songwriter/folk acts of the mid-to-early 60's, to the chaotic and intimate nature of much of 4th and 5th wave emo.
