Pictogram Color [jap: ピクトグラムカラー] started as a solo unit by Masao Ikeya on October 1st, 2001. The first album self titled pictogram color was released on May 12th, 2002, with Rico on the vocals. Later on 2002, Miki Nakagawa joins as a vocalist. In 2003 they participated in three releases: Lamb's remix album "Wool Works", V.A "Soundtrack for visual architecture" and V.A "Superior Resort". On September 25th, 2003 pictogram color released their second album Panoramic Struttin' . During 2004, Miki Nakagawa withdrew from the members. At the same time, pictogram color resumed as a solo unit of Masao Ikeya who was producing the third album. In February, 2005, Yuka joined as a vocalist.
