perception of the whole was spawned in the garage of member Justin Oberg, late 2007. The original members were Micah Orsatti, Justin Oberg and Trevor Wichner. They recorded several free form songs, then the project was basically forgotten until sometime in 2008, when it was revived by Orsatti. Micah Orsatti started to record by himself, and sample in sound effects, collaborating with Trevor Wichner, roommate Josiah Parker (aka)Manticore Am I, and Philip Conzer, creating the yet unfinished album, . . . (The name of the album is a supposed to be a thought. The listener is supposed to listen to the album, look at the album art, and think a thought. It is not a sentence, it is the unfathomable thoughts in one's own head that cannot be put into words) The album No One Can Explain Why This Is Happening, But No One Can Deny That It Is was created in one night, by Micah Orsatti, Josiah Parker, Trevor Wichner, Joseph Pogue, and Justin Delaire. perception of the whole is part of the Conscience Collective, and the only permanent member is Orsatti. Orsatti lives, and records in Litchfield, MN, where he works on several projects with other members of the Conscience Collective, including Josiah Parker.
