Outbreed are a 4-piece band from Dublin, Ireland. The band started off as a 2-piece band known as "Feeding Time", consisting of singer/rhythm guitarist Michael Pearce and lead guitarist Niall Feeney. While playing acoustic gigs around Dublin, the eventual aim was to find the right bassist and drummer to complete the band. In the summer of 2005, the search ended as friend of the band and guitarist Ivan Byrne was asked to play bass, while drummer Gavin O'Sullivan was asked to play drums. After a quick-and-painless name-change, Outbreed was born. Outbreed play a blues-influenced form of rock, ranging from acoustic and slow blues to hard-hitting blues-rock. Influences within the band vary from the likes of Rory Gallagher and Led Zeppelin to Radiohead and Pink Floyd to Metallica and Queens of the Stone Age and many, more.
