Formada no Rio de Janeiro, a banda de rock alternativo “ouriço” incorpora elementos do indie rock, shoegaze, emo e punk. O projeto surge da necessidade de lidar com dificuldades impostas pela juventude, e de dissipar os sentimentos que se manifestam em suas composições. As canções abordam temas diversos: enquanto algumas transcrevem conflitos internos com uma sonoridade introspectiva, outras celebram a vida e o que há de mais bonito em vivê-la. A banda fez seu show de estreia no Garage Grind House em junho de 2023 e desde então continua se apresentando e crescendo na cena independente carioca. Formed in Rio de Janeiro, the alternative rock band “ouriço” incorporates elements of indie rock, shoegaze, emo and punk. The project emerged from the need to deal with the difficulties imposed by youth, and to dissipate the feelings that manifest themselves in their compositions. The songs address diverse themes: while some transcribe internal conflicts with an introspective sound, others celebrate life and the most beautiful things about living it. The band made its debut show at Garage Grind House in June 2023 and since then has continued to perform and grow in the independent scene in Rio.
