of Pain is a four-piece band from Oulu, Finland. The band's music is a mixture of black and thrash metal with some slight progressive and experimental elements. Current line-up has been playing together since 2008, at first playing covers from bands such as Immortal, Satyricon, Old Man's Child and Arcturus. The band was reborn in 2016 as Melding Plague with the release of their debut album Cataclysm Archives.
