There are two artists going by the name oct: 1) OcT is an artist from Canada. The name was born out of a shortening of the word 'octopus'. OcT can be described as lo-fi, ambient, seapunk and noise. 2) Luke, Vinny, Peter — together, they’re OCT, a comedy music trio recently named one of Billboard’s Top 15 Musical Comedians Right Now. With viral hits like “Half Horse Half Man” and “Frictionless Wipe,” they’ve quickly become a force in the musical comedy scene. Luke’s a Berklee-trained musician, Vinny’s a sketch comic with 2.5M+ followers, and Peter’s a creator whose work has pulled in billions of views. They met at a corporate ad agency (Luke and Peter are brothers), became best friends, and turned procrastination into punchlines.
