There are at least 2 artists called o1o: 1. Dutch artist o1o started writing music at an age of 14. Using the keyboard of his father he composed his first song highly influenced by the dark, impressive, compelling tones of U2, the howling vocals of Bono Vox. At an age of 18 he joined the band Blue Band making new age punk wave music. He left the band, first joining a cover band and then to form the band Rayn. There he learned how to broaden his horizon combining all kinds of music styles, artist styles to create a new one. This band split up due to artistic disputes from where o1o joined several bands but never to come home again. In 2008, after years of neglecting his music, he cannot withstand the outcries for music and starts building his attic studio with minimal budget. In 2011 he decides to go into complete solitary for five days, recording 3 songs during the now known as the Egelhoek sessions. This was the beginning of producing his debut album "All by myself with some help", released January 12, 2013. 2.
