There are more than one artists named Nunpuncher 1. Nunpuncher is a Hardcore Punk band from Illinois. Their first EP can be downloaded for free here: hxxp://www.mediafire.com/?ljlrlz2ygny (just change the xx to tt) 2. Nunpuncher (real name Jason), was born in 1966 and lives in Edinburgh. His was first influenced by The Jam and after seeing them live decided he wanted to be in a band, His first band was called Blackmail Lettering which was formed with a couple of friends from school. Having friends who were in to punk finally caused him to leave The Jam behind (especially after their last couple of singles) and follow punk bands such as Subhumans and GBH. Later he went on to be influenced by Nirvana, Janes Addiction and Soundgarden; playing in local bands The Twats and The Pact. During this time, he bought a four-track recorder and discovered the joy of recording his own songs. When his son was born, he pretty much stopped making music and concentrated on his parental duties. At the tender age of 30, he realised that techno music is actually superior to rock music and spent the next ten years or so going clubbing. About two years ago, he rediscovered his joy of recording music. At time of writing, all the songs published on Last.fm were recorded recently but written about 15-20 years ago.
