"northern c" is a fresh electronic and electro-acoustic project hailing from Riga, Latvia, who just released their debut self-titled album on 8.04.2016. The band was created by two likeminded friends – Matiss Runtulis (also known as mr.myster) and Mikelis Putnins (leader of indie-pop trio Ezeri). Although northern c sound could be described as electronic, band was created to escape the popular ways of making music just by using computer, and guys are constantly looking for ways to create it with a help of different music instruments and equipment - guitars, bass guitars, Akai MPC, drum-machine, synthesizers, as well as experimenting with voices. This way the recording process is similar to a live performance, which adds special taste to the sound.
