There are two bands with this name 1. Nitwits was a punkrock band from San Jose. They released a demo tape, a split 7" with Mohinder (Stinky Feet Records/Unleaded Records) and a 7" entitled "Great Day" (Monitor Records #01). Both 7"s was released in 1994. 2. Formed in 2004 by four young men from Marseille, France, Nitwits can be described as a "Slackers Band". Following the path of bands like Nirvana, the Pixies, Sonic Youth or Pavement, they released 3 d.i.y albums : Death to lo-fi (2004), Le marécage de la mélancolie (2008) & Some kind of bizarre thing happened (2012).
