Nathan & Stephen were a 9-piece indie-pop band from Colorado. Several of its members have played in noteworthy bands around the Denver area, including Black Black Ocean, Five Iron Frenzy, and Boyswholikeaudrey. The band displays a collective aesthetic, featuring an expansive roster that often includes spouses, siblings, family and friends. The band's current lineup is as follows: Stephen Brooks, drums Dan Craig, guitar Justin Croft, keyboard P.D., trumpet Nathan McGarvey, lead vocals Jonathan Till, bass guitar Leanor Ortega Till, saxophone Matthew Till, guitar Stephen Till, lead guitar and vocals In addition, everyone in the band lends his or her vocal talents to many of the songs, furthering the band's often massive sound. Nathan & Stephen's debut recording, "The Everyone EP," was officially released February 9, 2006, celebrated with a performance by the band at Denver's Gothic Theater. The EP features violin arrangement and performance by Carrie Beeder, additional percussion by Woody Potter, and additional vocals by Anna Till.
