New Jersey has always been a stomping ground for up and coming new talent. Somewhere, throughout the populated mass, emerged a band called mudBox, hailing from central New Jersey. Since the birth of mudBox, time has shown the growth of a group that continues to bombard us with their own style of modern heavy music. Music that is indeed straight from the heart that captures emotions and expresses them without pulling any punches. It is obvious that it's the hard times that inspire mudBox to create new music. After several member changes, it was fate, and a shared vision that brought these four members together. Being compared to such major acts as Sevendust, and Staind, it's no wonder the bands hard-hitting live show is nothing short of intense. Frontman Kevin Schormann verbally assaults you with his own style of harmony and effusive aggression. Leaving you with powerful, melodic vocals that blend with the music perfectly. Guitarist Tony Hermosilla fills the spectrum with his earsplitting tone, uncompromised playing ability, and back-up vocal harmonies. Bass player Joey Crap combines punchy bottom end, solid bass lines, and growling back-up vocals that drive through you with a massive approach. And drummer Rob Kubik acts as the perfect counterbalance, playing with unmatched intensity, and hard hitting, driving beats. As a whole, the creativeness and writing style of mudBox will leave a scar on any listeners' memory. Their full length CD, “Dead Comfortable Feeling” was recorded
