Morris and the Pursuit is from Portland OR, although it has recently relocated to St. Louis MO. Musical influences are diverse and range from Pearl Jam to Rich Mullins to SRV. The music represented on the demo is somewhat more acoustic than a live show, however it is fairly indicative of our sound. The band lineup is: Charlie Hinckle - drums Silas Minyard - bass Jared Rouggly - electric guitar, acoustic guitar, vocals Nathan Conant - keys, organ, accordion, sound engineer All songs written by Jared Rouggly. Jared plays a Fender Stratocaster through a Lee Jackson Combo Amp, and Martin guitars. Charlie plays Pearl. Nathan plays Roland. Morris and the Pursuit is from Red Sea Church in Portland, and spent many Sundays playing music together before this project was conceived. We are Gospel centric in our lives and we want our music to be as well. This project is a demo, and we spent relatively few hours on it, so bear in mind that the quality isn't as ideal as is possible. I like it though, and I hope you do as well. Thanks for listening.
