Artist
Minco Eggersman (born 27 May 1977) is a Dutch musician, singer, songwriter, label owner, producer, (film) composer and music entepreneur. He owns Dutch indie labels, Sally Forth Records and Volkoren, is singer and drummer in the band At the close of every day and drummer in The Spirit That Guides Us and releases music under his own name or the abbreviation ME (all of his solo albums are now listed under Minco Eggersman on streaming platforms such as Spotify). Most of Eggersman's film scores are released under his full name, including WIN/WIN (2010), Drone (2013), Kavkasia (2017), In Blue (2017), Het Laatste Verhoor (2018), Tapwater Engine (2019) and De man uit Rome (2023). The latter film score earned Eggersman a 'Gouden Kalf' (Best Music), one of The Netherlands' most prstigious film music awards. His three 'regular' studio solo albums were released under the ME moniker, but may also be scrobbled as Minco Eggersman: The Wagon Fair (2004), Hamden (2010) and Reservoirs (2012). Eggersman's first solo album, The Wagon Fair, was a dark americana record (compared to the work of At the close of every day). Hamden and Reservoirs were dark, brooding 'eighties' albums with a sound that has been compared to the work of David Sylvian. 2016 saw the start of the Unifony project of Eggersman and his musical partner in crime, Theodoor Borger: Unifony (2018), Unifony II (2020) and Unifony III (2023). The three Unifony albums are credited to Minco Eggersman & Theodoor Borger. User-cont
