Hailing from gainesville florida, ross/drums, jon/bass, kurt/guitar.vox. kurt and jon from sofla, ross from otown. the band started in 2001 after a horrible jam sesh which included baby blue bongo drums.. ouch. besides consuming lots of beef jerky, milk, cigs, beer, potted meat, soda, sex, drugs, and rocknroll, mightaswell played countless shows all over florida and the surrounding southeast with bands, from small and short lived, to sharing the stage with national acts at warped tour. in 2002 mightaswell recorded an 11 song demo at mirror image studios in gville. "we still owe harry 100 bucks." thousands of homemade demos and hundreds of black m.a.w. tshirts were sold or given away from 2002 - 2004. (the demo can now be found on the yesteryear.anthology). the band fizzled out in 2004, they never officially broke up. presently, ross is a glorified paper pusher on the mean streets of manhattan, jon is a professional bag thrower and winterpark hipster, kurt is a lumberjack looking small time construction suit in gainesville. thank you everyone for checking out the myspace. please check back here and our bulletins for future plans, merch, and whatever else comes up. as for now, check out the bands featured in the top friends section. to all the old, new and future fans.. we did, we do not do.
