Melancholiaah! (Also known as Marius in the group See.ker) is a 25-year-old solo artist/kaigai idol whose music comprises J-pop, J-rock, and more. Marius was born on April 14 in Texas of the United States. He briefly joined a group in 2014 named SHEawase and was assigned the color green. He originally did not like it but grew fond of it and kept the color as he transferred over to the group See.ker. Marius first gained internet personality around age 10 when he uploaded a video pretending to be a famous Japanese character, Hatsune Miku. Marius however was faced with harassment, stalking, and more unsavory events as he continued to grow online. Despite the negative attention he continued to upload and perform for the fans that genuinely supported his work with no ill intentions attached. Marius soon went on a break to focus on himself, a little while after this a close friend of his (Akira Complex, also known as Charlie) had asked for vocals for an album, as Marius provided the vocals he realized he needed a name to be credited on the album. This is when Melancholiaah! was created. Melancholiaah! was a project to reclaim the love of performance Marius once had, he notes the project as a "revenge project" in an interview. He also notes Melancholiaah! to represent the "disgust he once saw in the world as a 10 year old girl." Marius considers himself to have many different hobbies such as makeup, animation, music production, film, and more, he tries to combine all of these
