From thecorner.co.nz Q&A with Tom Scott: Home Brew frontman Tom Scott dropped his new EP Max Marx and Friedrich Calloway at Carnegie Hall via Twitter and on their blog on Friday. We’ve been assured that that the EP is not a Home Brew project, but rather a collaboration with producer Chris Macro which is interesting because it’s not a sound that Scott has explored before. Here the themes of binge-drinking and partying are absent and instead we have something introspective, well-balanced, a little more focussed and mellowed out. In fact, ‘Natural’ might be the closest thing he’s ever had to a love song.
