Matt Watroba is a well respected tradional and folk musician best known in Michigan and the larger Great Lakes region. He is the host of the long running "Folks Like Us" radio show on WDET (Public Radio in Detroit, Michigan). Matt is also the host of the national radio program Sing Out! Radio Magazine, featuring interviews with a wide range of people involved in traditional and Folk music as well as live and recorded music. The program is broadcast on many public radio stations, and it is streamed online at FolkAlley.com He was awarded "Best Overall Folk Performer" by the Detroit Music Awards for the year 2000, and his long list of credits include Ann Arbor Folk Festival, regular performances at The Ark in Ann Arbor MI, and numerous apperances at folk and traditional music festivals throught the US and Canada.
