Maria Kallastu is a cool breeze of fresh Estonian art-pop with her smooth R’n’B vocalsspiced with dreamy soundscapes and uplifting harmonies. Surrounded by and immersed in different genres ofmusic since her childhood, Kallastu has found her footing and means of expression in music production and writing. She feels that producing and singing are equally important to her as an artist. With both she is able to express herself most freely and authentically. As Maria dives more deeply into the local music world, her remarkable vocals and production skills gain more and more admirers – in listeners, as well in colleagues. She has already collaborated with some of the freshest new talents, including producers boipepperoni, Gevin Niglas and Karl Killing, rappers säm, margiiela and Leis, poet EiK and guitarist Mattias Tirmaste.
