This is the biography as can be found on her MySpace account: Margarita sound is captivating, once you hear her songs you will never let go of her music and of your life. There is streak of sorrow in Margarita’s songs because of some things she has experienced in her life, and because in some ways our lives are finite, however there is a fountain of youth and passion, and wisdom and eternal beauty and love in her songs. And that is exactly what Margarita is all about. Her music is about hope and life and second chances, and never giving up. Never! And becoming a success despite all the odds against you! Margarita was born in the Ukraine in the city Dnepropetrovsk. Margarita’s mother is Ukranian and her Father is Jewish and that created some difficulty in the family. Growing up in the Ukraine and being Jewish was hard, because some of the teachers were prejudice toward Jews. Margarita started writing songs when she was only 5 years at the same time when she started attending Classical Music School at the Music School 12 in the Dnepropetrovsk. She was a good student and tried to do her best in everything she did. First 10 years of her childhood Margarita spent with her Angel Grandmother Anna Ivanovna Chorpita. Grandmother read to Margarita fairy tales from the very old book every night. The book was so thick and so old, it was dark Bordeaux Color and the fairytales were so magical and so spiritual.
