Matt began writing music at the age of 14 on the then coined "Fruity Loops" with his peers. Through trial and error, various styles began to surface with each successive grouping of songs that were formed. Upon discovering artists such as The Album Leaf, Sigur Rós, Björk and Mogwai, a more minimal style began to develop. The culmination of years practice and the various sounds encountered over those years is what is heard today. Heavily influenced by the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, Mum, Kenna and Arovane, he continues to hone his skills utilizing a healthy dose of sampling and direct synthesis.
