There are at least two artists/acts called Loupe. 1. Loupe is an indie rock band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Their debut single, 'Leave Me There', came out in September 2021, followed by a debut EP (Older) in November and a sophomore EP, Spring '19, in October 2022. Full-length debut, Do You Ever Wonder What Comes Next?, was released in June 2023. All of those recordings were made by Julia (vocals), Jasmine (guitar), Lana (bass) and Annemarie (drums). However, Loupe's vocalist and front woman, Julia Korthouwer, left the fold shortly after the album release and was replaced by Nina Ouattara. Loupe's second album, Oh, To Be Home, dropped in November 2025. 2. Loupe is the electronic and ambient project of producer Michael Barker from the United States (born in Florida, now based in Colorado). Influenced by the work of Japanese composers, Loupe's music is inspired by the fusion of natural soundscapes and modern electronic production sensibilities.
