Leizaboy started mixing in public in 2001. Since then, he participated at events both in the country and abroad: 48 Hours Festival (Timisoara, Romania), TMBase Festival - Timisoara, Rock la Mures Festival-Periam Port, Graz School of Architecture Festival - Graz (Austria), Garana Jazz Festival. He is a member of the anonimTM Organization (Timisoara) and for 3 years, together with DJ Dubase from Guerilla Outernational they form a unique duo in Romania, creating soundtracks for mute films at events such as Transilvania Film Festival (TIFF) - Cluj, Romania and Music on Film - Film on Music (MOFFOM) - Prague, Czech Republic. Together with Brigada Artistica Urbana (BAU) - Timisoara he put the basis of a musical creation studio. They now collaborate on a lot of other projects such as Mindchange, a nu-jazz project formed of artists from Timisoara, being the first romanian jazz band to perform with a DJ on stage also making Leizaboy the first DJ that performed at the Garana Jazz International Festival. DJ Leizaboy started playing trip-hop, making a jump afterwards to drum and bass and later breakbeat. In time he added funk and hip-hop to his DJ sets which he now mixes with broken beat. His favourite music genres (which he listens to and mixes) include: Jazz, Acid Jazz, Soul Jazz, Nu Jazz, Broken Beat, Hip Hop, Downtempo, Funk. Since 2001, he has been travelling & mixing in towns like: Budapesta, Milano, Praga, Graz, Berlin and most of the Romanian big towns. DJ Leizaboy played music w
